​Hello,
My name is Eva Stark and I am so pleased that you have come across my website!
I am equally passionate as I am compassionate when it comes to all things breastfeeding.
My motto is:
No Guilt - Just Milk!
What I mean by this, is that guilt of any sort has no place in my consultations. I am eager to meet you right where you are at in your motherhood and breastfeeding journey.
Whatever your goals are - they will be mine!
My journey to this profession began in 2003, when I gave birth to my first child. I had been so focused on preparing for her birth but didn't worry too much about breastfeeding, as I expected that to be natural and easy.
It turned out that in our case it was anything but easy.
When my baby was 3 months old, I was just about to give up on breastfeeding but decided to make one last attempt to seek help.
By this point I was quite depressed and started to think that if I can't do something as simple as feed my baby, then maybe I wasn't meant to be a mom.
A lactation consultant came and not only diagnosed the reason for my painful feedings but restored my belief that I was indeed made to be a mom!

A second baby and a few years later I decided to start my education and became a Lactation Educator in 2007.
I continued my studies at the University of California San Diego and achieved my International Board Certification as a Lactation Consultant in 2009.
I had the privilege of doing over 300 hours of clinical internships in many different hospitals and private lactation practices all thru out southern CA.
I was born and raised in Germany and moved to Orange County in 1998. I have been married to my husband since 2001 and we have been blessed with four sweet daughters.
